From the South - From I-95 (Maine Turnpike) take Exit 52 at Falmouth. You will then be on Route I-295 to Bath/Brunswick area and will take Exit 28 at Brunswick to U.S. Route 1. Follow U.S. Route 1 through Wiscasset where you will cross a long bridge over the Sheepscot River. Approximately 1 mile past the bridge, turn right onto Route 27 South in Edgecomb. Stay on Route 27 South for about 11 miles to the village of Boothbay Harbor, and continue on Route 27 until you cross the swing bridge onto Southport Island. The Thompson Cottages are located on Thompsons Hill Rd., just past the bridge on the right and across from Robinson's Wharf.
From the North - Follow U.S. Route 1 South from Bar Harbor or Camden to the Route 27 South turn off in Edgecomb. Then follow the directions above to reach the Thompson Cottages!
